Nepal Religious and Heritage Tour starts with arrival in Kathmandu and meet our representative at the designated arrival point. Proceed to your hotel for check-in and relax after your journey. In the evening, if time permits, take a leisurely walk around the local area and experience the atmosphere of Kathmandu. Return to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour covering some of the most important religious and heritage attractions of Kathmandu Valley. Begin with Pashupatinath Temple, one of Nepal's most sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites, followed by Guhyeshwari Temple, an important Shakti Peeth. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal. Next, visit Budhanilkantha Temple, famous for its large reclining statue of Lord Vishnu. Proceed to Swayambhunath Stupa, situated on a hilltop overlooking Kathmandu Valley, offering panoramic views of the city. Later, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Kumari Ghar, the historic home of the Living Goddess Kumari. In the evening, return to the hotel. You may enjoy free time for shopping or exploring the local market. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, check out from the Kathmandu hotel and proceed towards Chandragiri Hills. Enjoy the scenic Chandragiri Cable Car ride and visit Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple at the hilltop. Spend some time enjoying the panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding Himalayan landscape. Continue towards Bhaktapur and explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square, known for its traditional Newari architecture, temples and historic monuments. Proceed to Dholeshwar Mahadev Temple, which holds great religious significance among devotees and is traditionally associated with the head of Kedarnath. Continue towards Sanga and see the famous Adiyogi/Statue of Shiva before proceeding to Nagarkot. On arrival in Nagarkot, check in to your hotel and enjoy the peaceful hill-station atmosphere. If weather conditions are clear, enjoy the sunset and Himalayan views from Nagarkot. Overnight stay in Nagarkot. Nagarkot is around 30–32 km from Kathmandu and is known for Himalayan panoramas as well as sunrise and sunset views.
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayan range from Nagarkot, weather permitting. Nagarkot is particularly well known for its sunrise views and Himalayan scenery. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Kathmandu. Depending on your departure schedule, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or relaxation. Proceed to the airport for your onward journey.
